Do Not Fight the Charge Alone

Nebraska laws state that an individual is guilty of theft if the individual exercises control over another's property without their knowledge or permission and without the intent to return the stolen goods or services to the proper owner.

If you are found guilty of committing one of the aforementioned offenses, you may be sentenced with:

  • Exorbitant fines
  • Restitution
  • Lengthy jail or prison sentence

In addition, you will have a permanent stain on your criminal record that could make it challenging to secure future employment.

Your penalties will be contingent upon:

  • The value of the stolen goods
  • The amount of stolen goods
  • Whether or not force or fear were used to steal the goods or services

Do not risk your future opportunities by sitting back and waiting for your charges to blow over. Secure the tenacious representation of Chad Wythers.
